I make a habit of reading comment sections of all things gaming just so I can keep a pulse on the audiance. And I have to say it's always excruciating to read Go comments.

You’ll never know, because people who are still enjoying the game aren’t going apeshit on the Internet. I’m enjoying the game still. Nothing has really changed, as far as I’m concerned. I just catch whatever I run into.

However, the game is lacking in functions promised in trailers, which may, or may not be coming,

Gamers on Day 1: “Pokemon Go is amazing! It’s like the thrill of the game’s adventure in real life! You explore more, take more risks, meet new people! It’s changing the world!”

I think we already know the answer to the question. No. It won’t live up to the hype. How could it?

New Pokemon. New Pokemon with multiple forms. New forms for old Pokemon. New special attacks. New challenges besides gyms/the Elite Four.

Yeah. Definitely not trying.

This is the most Hanke has communicated with the Pokémon Go community.

You can throw away the potions and revives in the inventory screen at least. Look for a trash can icon.

you can delete those potions and revives so you have room for more pokeballs

Yet another in a long line of “small company with very specific vision that refuses to compromise” vs. “large fanbase with totally different vision.”

Omg dude get off your dumb high horse. I have a full time job a family I don't have time to go walk my neighbor hood every single day. Not to mention I live in a country area. When we go to the park it was nice for me to finally have a direction to go instead of just looking for random things to do. It wasn't cheating

Randomness factor? Cheat? Uh ok, first, that is not cheating, regardless of what “Jank” says. The game is not very well designed and since launch has regressed quite a bit. Using a service that actually provides functionality that is pretty key to the base experience is great, and if anything should be a wake up call

I don’t understand this at all. The beauty of the game is that it gets people up and out, mostly kids. If you live in a high density urban area, then maybe wandering around aimlessly looking for Pokemon is enticing, but if you live in a suburban area (or rural), it is not.

Do you actually read these articles and know why this is an issue, or do you just have two settings, but can only “Sit on Fabricated Moral High Ground” because “Fuck Off and Mind My Own Business” is broken?

Yes, we all want to walk around aimlessly, much like the Pokémon trainers of old. I mean, Red surely didn’t have a way of finding where Pokémon lived after having seen them once, right?

Except that the in-game tracker was NOT cheating and was a big and important part of the game. With that disabled, you need SOMETHING to track nearby Pokémon.

This has been proven to not be true. When the Nearby Box flashes or vibrates, all it means is that the list is updating.

So its basically as useless as it was before... Wellp thank god there is Pokevision.com!

It wasn’t a glitch, they turned off the function to lighten the load on servers and in this update they completely removed it instead of trying to repair it.

People call it a bug but it’s actually something they intentionally turned off for the time being because it was overloading servers.

The glitch started happening around the time the servers got a lot better so people are theorizing that the server lag are caused by the tracking system in the game
