I think by "the last season" you mean "all the seasons". Under The Dome was so deliciously bad from the beginning to the end that it's hard to imagine any tv-show ever matching the joy of watching it in a deep state of WTF.

I, for one, believe that the world would be a better place if more grandparent-aged people arranged rock'n'roll festivals and built torture castles.
So you're saying you're Tired of Being Alive?
Still an improvement.
Andy McCoy, the guitarist of Hanoi Rocks is simply amazing. One of those few guitar players where you only need to hear a couple of notes to go "oh, that's Andy!"
Yeah, I too skip the whole ritual aspect of drinking mate. I buy loose leaf mate, toss it into a tea infuser and basically treat it like green tea. I've found using not-at-all-boiling-hot water at around 80c / 180f works best for tasty results with a few minutes of infusion time.
The whole genre is definitely in a slump. I'm a big fan of rock'n'roll, but the current state of it is just sad.
Night of The Comet should be #1 on the list. Watching it feels like seeing a lost, extended Buffy episode and the film even has a character named Buffy*.
AV Club
the idea that the advertising wouldn’t impact the editorial content is absurd
And not only that, but if we generously guess that the creature has existed for something like 4000 years, it's actually been awake for less than two years.
I think the whole thing shows how we need more mid-budget genre films. They are so rare now, that when one comes out and actually does well everybody in the film industry seem to get a bit over excited.
I've always thought Sex Pistols is musically way underrated. They have a bunch of killer tunes like Holidays In The Sun, Submission and the big hits. Actually the whole first/only album is very solid, no filler. And I guess some of them actually knew how to write songs, because they managed a great original song…
I read Paul Stanley's Face the Music: A Life Exposed and it turns out that Paul Stanley is both the best and the worst thing about Kiss. When he's on fire he's a great rock'n'roll songwriter, but on the other hand he's also responsible for 30 years of the terrible "rock this or that" and "terrible sex metaphor" songs…
While I like Kiss fine enough, has there ever been a covers album that wasn't unessential? I can't think of one.
I used to hate Kiss. Then I actually listened to some of the first albums and holy poop do they have some killer, stupid, awesome rock songs!
Yep, it's very short but in a good way. I'd consider it a great example of a book that's just the right length - couldn't add or remove anything to make it better.
I recently read Dracula, Frankenstein & Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
I highly recommend Blind Fury for all b-action-film fans. The film is rarely spoken about even though it has pretty much everything you can ask for from an eighties action flick: memorable characters, great bits of random humor, snappy running time and good action scenes.
I would like to state I am NOT available to be the next James Bond. I know the role would bring instant world-wide fame, insane amounts of money, nice parts in other films and so on. However the role would seriously eat into the time I spend reading AV Club comments.
That's a very good point. Actually saying something with your instrument is way more difficult, and way nicer to listen to, than listen to somebody play like a human drum machine - technically perfect but with no feeling.
