Joe: "Gaff almost started a drinking game, but he feared it would be too dangerous."

The whole episode was extremely poorly directed, but Pauline and Big Jim kissing was probably the worst directed scene in recent tv history.

It was funny in general how everybody was freaking out as if they were going to die any second now, when in fact the dome is miles across and had contracted by what looked like 3 yards.

One of the biggest laughs of the episode (which had plenty) really was how incompetently everything related to the cold weather was handled.

Sammy?

He died as he lived - in a spectacularly stupid manner.

Wow, thank you for that piece of news. Immediately pre-ordered it, can't wait.

The negotiator on the other side must've been all nervous like "Uh, I hope he doesn't ask for more than 50 million bucks for the egg because I can't go higher than that" … "wait what, he doesn't want anything for it?!"

Well, it clearly was her own damn fault for drawing pictures that urge people to kill teenagers.

Speaking of annoying musicians, Jim Belushi's face is like made for playing aging Gene Simmons.

Unfortunately it seems so. I thought other writers would continue those and other features, but maybe it takes more talent to write those than to come up with a funny headline and copy-paste a video.

Not that long we could enjoy reading well written stuff like Dispatches From Direct to DVD Purgatory, Commentary Tracks of The Damned, Loud or New Cult Canon. Now we get to enjoy a re-purposed video about "a Maryland-based 38-year-old who claims to subsist almost entirely on pizza". Yea, lazy seems about right.

I think in season 1 it was mentioned that the military used the biggest non-nuclear bomb they had. And also only one side of the outside area is supposed to be wasteland, altough that's never shown - I guess every outside scene just happens to have the good side in the background.

"finally achieving the mainstream recognition that it had never really tried to get in the first place"

Yeah he made some of my all time favorite songs (Old Man's Back Again, Jackie), but damn he got weird along the way. I can't take more than 15 seconds of his more recent stuff.

Due to my job I need to follow what Google does and if there is one thing they love it is to apply automated algorithms to everything. I bet within 12 months "the experts" are replaced with a piece of software which creates the kind of playlists algorithms tend to create: perfectly plausible but also wholly

Well, at least "comic actor tries to expand their range" usually works a LOT better than "an action star wants to show his comedic side".

"unbelievably terrible, somehow outdoing itself each week" is well said and exactly the reason I'm watching the first episode of season two at least: season one had such unbelievably stupid/bad/funny plot lines (underground fight club being my favorite) and acting that I'm genuinely curious if they can still somehow

That Shure detachable wires thing sounds like a great idea. I've been meaning to get a nice pair of headphones for a while, but haven't gotten around due to not wanting to spend money on something that's going to break in 18 months or less anyways.

Another World was the first thing I thought of when I saw the trailer. It's funny how AW was so far ahead of it's time that the same ideas recycled 23 years later still seem kinda fresh.
