Honestly, as a former personal trainer here, there are a lot of better workout programs, and a lot of things that are lacking, long term, from 100 pushups, situps, and squats; and a 10k run. But if it gets more people to get off there butts and exercise for a few weeks, you could certainly do a lot worse.

Name one other Marvel origin story that prominently features a ginger cat... I’ll wait...

I think that requires a little bit of a correction: Destiny 2 learned the *wrong* lessons from Destiny 1, in that they tried to de-emphasize end game content and provide more a “cinematic” Halo-esque experience in the campaign and DLC, as well as creating a more accessible loot grind. Destiny 2 base was better than

As a Day One Destiny Player, the difference here seems to be that, in my experience, Destiny had great “bones” and didn’t experience a ton of obvious technical issues on launch, but a short disjointed main campaign, a lack of endgame content, and some issues with the loot mechanics (things which were fixed in later con

So I’ve been floating this idea for a while that rather than redo and subvert the original trilogy, that the sequel trilogy should have been and do-over/subversion of the prequels.

The Vita will never die so long as I can use it to play Destiny while I poop.

I had a weird moment skimming through this...

There are two types of people in the world - people who only like the first 4/5 of BvS, and people who only like the last 1/5 of BvS. :)

So I think I mostly agree, but I having the tiers is a little bit denigrating to decent movies (like the 2 Ant-Man flicks) that just don’t necessarily hold up in the MCU. Like, a “bottom-tier MCU” movie is still in the top half of superhero movies historically, and even at least “middle tier” of superhero movies in

Yeah... My parents would have been considered strict by many measures, but by the time I had graduated high school it was basically “Let us know your general plans, and don’t wake us up when you get home.”

From what I’ve read, many sub-$1k UHD LED/LCDs on the market outperform the current crop of QLEDs in terms of picture quality.

I’m pretty sure this is already being used. I know that with software QA in general, more is being done with scripting and automation than having people manually work through a list of specific steps.

Pokken Tournament!

I feel like the Pokemon XY anime might be a pretty good template for that. It was somewhat serialized, but still generally made sense as an episodic show. The general flow of the episodes was:

Whoa. So if Pepper was pregnant, what if the baby got snapped and that’s her motivation for putting on a suit?

I feel for Amell in that Flash costume. I have a similar body type to him (sort of like the fit male equivalent of a pear shape), and I recognize the struggle of being fit, but not looking as good as skinnier or more V-shaped dudes in that sort of stuff, but, man, that suit is just not flattering on him.

Yup. Just caught me a Turtwig in the US.

Now playing

Right, like taken as a whole, the use of the team as a whole, particularly Cyclops characterization, in the first X-Men is lacking (as a long time X-Men fan who’s always found Wolverine to be kind of “meh”). BUT the final action sequence with Jean using TK to move Cyclops visor in position to takedown Sabertooth, and

Cool, yeah, Luke Cage in particular always bugged me because it seems like they waver between him having indestructible skin, but being otherwise biologically normal (like when he has internal injuries from a bomb blast), and him being generally superhuman in every sense.

It does make sense because lifting weights or doing hard manual labor also has effects on bone density and tendon strength. So it would seem like having superhuman strength would also make your bones and connective tissue superhuman.
