I gasped when I saw the alert on TMZ. I was just watching her and her girls on the McClure Twins YouTube channel at the zoo. She seemed like such a loving mom and human being, and protective of people she loved. Her family must be devastated. My prayers go out to them.

What an excellent idea for a broad research study - I wonder how you could get this in front of people who could make it happen.

Because that’s our life expectancy now. Because modern medicine is available to them. Because ample nutrition, clothing, and shelter is available to them. Because such an individual typically is not faced with trying to survive through armed conflict.

It’s a fear of mine. I am Lindsay Lohan’s age. In 2005 or so, there was an era of anorexia and I hopped in for a year. Later, I was thin from abusing energy pills. Later, I was thin for being stressed. I spent my 20s being thin, now I spend my 30s trying to be as healthy as possible .I fear for my poor heart. 

Shut up, this is 2018 in the U.S., not classical Greece. 47 is young to fucking DIE. A healthy, wealthy woman should easily live to 90 or so. 

It’s amazing & appalling how many people don’t get that. Most of my ancestors lived into their 70 & 80s, some even older. And my trees go back to the 1700s

Hard nope on the “humans used to live to 45" crap. They lived to 60 or so.

This was a stupid post. 

My aunt just got out of ICU after a month. She felt like she had the flu and kept getting worse. My uncle forced her to go to the hospital in their small town. They medevaced her that night to a hospital in the city. Pneumonia...Legionnaire’s disease specifically. It got into her blood and she went septic.

Her son, Quincy, stars in the movie The Holiday Calendar, hence why she was at the premiere. So sad all around. 

There should be study of heart problems of models. Anorexia and being underweight is linked to high rates of cardiac arrest and heart damage. Food deprivation means losing muscle mass, and lack of food based nutrients causes damage to the valves and small blood vessels.

Awful. Diddy is a lot of things, but he has to be freaking out right now. I can’t imagine losing your children’s mother, particularly when a few are so young. This is tragic.  

Omg this is horrible and really scary because she was so young. She’s got four kids she left behind. RIP and condolences to her family. 

Probably because he was talking, and not standing alongside the giant that is Penn Jillette (which means he actually looks like a somewhat-normal-sized human being). Take away the muteness and apparent shortness, and you’re missing the two most notable traits about him.

It should be noted that Amy’s dad is Teller of Penn and Teller and one of the running jokes in this episode is his being impressed with Howard’s magic and Howard teaching him a trick.
