I quite enjoy the beard sensation— sensation— but not, for the love of god, freshly trimmed beard. Your hairs are at their sharpest in the 1-2 days after cutting so plan ahead before you or your partner shave your genitals or face.

It does work for certain types of performance anxiety tho. In HS part of my pre-competition routine was to imagine pulling strands of anxiety out of my head, rolling then into a ball, and eating them-converting the nervous energy into pure energy.
