I wonder when people who don’t like a game will be happy with stating they don’t like the game once, instead of repeating themselves every chance they get, and realize they sound like a thirsty motherfucker.

“How do I tell people I don’t like a thing? I KNOW! I’ll comment on the Internet about it! That’ll show’em!!”

The gripe is pretty obvious as it comes from parasites that feel entitled to other people’s work.

The Zune of streaming apps.

Marcus Holloway was a fantastic protagonist, too. The voice actor really brought his A-game.

Not after 20 years in the industry however.

I thought I was going mad, glad someone else noticed the resemblance too!

Never once been told that. hahahahaha

“Based on what I played, Destiny 2 seems more like a reset than a sequel. Reset the gear, reset the balance, reset our characters and our levels. Clear the table, smooth out the cloth, and start fresh”

Once again, Nintendo of America is either too slow to get off their behind and announce this at the same time, or they continue their decent into further not giving two craps about the American market.

Not shocked that the anemic switch library forces people to pretend like having a near 10 year old game on the system is a big deal.

Well that was very nice of your girlfriend’s parents. You’re a lucky guy.

re: the last paragraph, TBS aired an overwatch tournament like 6 months ago and we were having dinner at my girl’s parents house. they know i play the game, but don’t know jack about games in general let alone the specifics of overwatch. they were still able to get sucked into the presentation, i thought it was really

I thought I’d have that problem but I enjoy Horizon so much more and it just keeps getting bigger and badder as time goes on.

Which might actually, in the long run, change games journalism for the better - if nobody got early copies, if reviews had to be based on post-release information, if all of us could calm the hell down and lose our obsession with buying the game the *moment* it’s released... maybe we’d see reviews that were properly

Nah, reviewers get copies of new games every week and it’s very rare for any professional outlet to break embargo. What’s more likely is that Bethesda wants to have complete control over their marketing message until the last possible minute.

I like the idea of loot boxes, a good surprise is always nice. I don’t like how the vast majority of games handle them though. Obviously they’re set up to entice players to spend real money on them.

The duplicates of items are the worst offender still in the system, and a cheap way to prolong the treadmill till you get all that you want. The fact that the duplicates net you garbage amounts of currency doesn’t help either. It has reached the point where I only go on to play the game for fun or because of event

If Nintendo is great at only one thing, it’s consistency. They make increasingly amazing games, top notch design, always fun, and horrible online infrastructure. Good job Nintendo!
