Yeah...it’s not like Nintendo sunk a lot of money into a console, but marketed it horribly, and cut if off prematurely, and then just left those people in the dust to release a new console with little exclusive game content...?

Nah Nintendo is handling it a lot better than Disney.

Out of desperation I bought Lego City Undercover today. The lack of analog triggers felt game/system breaking for the first time when I got into a car.

These are Only worth playing if you have nothing else. Even the VITA has better options to tie me over and just play persona 5 at home. Nothing to play on the switch till WonderBoy.

Well if people always give Nintendo a pass for pulling this type of crap then why not Altus too. ‘Cough’ this is fine people, totally not a big deal. Others do it too you’ll be fine just stop whining and enjoy whatever they decide to shove down your throat. I don’t care if others have done it better this is Altus

It is, dude is stuck at some menial job and angry about it:)

Saw this play out over on Reddit this weekend. I really dislike this trend of moving the goalposts instead of just admitting the mistake. This seems to be a trend among the youtubers- Admit fault and amend with a BUT...

“Seems like an article made to meet some sort of post quota”

I find the dropping process to be extremely annoying and a ‘swap’ option would be welcome. It wouldn’t change the game in any way for people that didn’t want to use it.

It’s stuff like this that really sets Horizon apart. If the game didn’t have the Cauldrons, no one would be asking for more content, and it would still be a great experience.

The first time I did a Cauldron (post-Metal Ring), it was so radically different from everything that it honestly felt like Aloy had stumbled onto an alien world. Here was a girl decked out in animal leather and fur walking around on Tron lines and metal cable and it was so eerie and profound that I had to move slowly

Zelda: Breath of the Mild, you mean.

(No, but seriously, I love BotW)

I’m not saying you’re lying, just that the extent of the improvement seems to vary for different people. It seems like the drops are fixed more in handheld mode, at least.

The patch turns it into a much better game you mean? Like, it magically transforms into Horizon Zero Dawn or something?

Now playing

It doesn’t fix all of them. This video shows that some areas still have issues.

The port is the other way around, it was ported to the current gen console. It’s a last gen game.

Sadly, Nintendo has already issued the child a Cease and Desist
