Yeah, this is the 2nd time Nintendo messed up on supply for a console in nearly the same year. First the mini-NES and now the Switch.

Your first point is utterly irrelevant. They clearly didn’t make the Switch screen out of a plastic stronger than steel.

The switch’s screen is made of plastic. The dock is made of plastic. Plastic can scratch plastic. If it were made of glass the dock wouldn’t be able to do anything to it, but if you happen to put it in at the wrong angle the dock can scratch the screen very easily.

I believe the Hori tempered glass one has the issue going from Amazon reviews. Possibly others. Note I don’t think it damages the system in any way from what I’ve heard given protectors are made to be removable anyway, just the protector will peel or get bubbles so you’re out the cost of a lousy screen protector.

Wow do I hate gamers like this. I know there are bad apples in every kind of hobby/fandom/whatever, but man oh man is this particular brand of bullshit getting way too common for my liking.

It’s fun trying to find out which aren’t destructible in this game. During Deathbringer battles, I try to hide behind everything I can find and pretty much all of them get blown to bits.

Save for the unfortunate floating rock, that Thunderjaw/Ravager clip showcases this game’s destructible environments pretty well. It’s nuts how enemies just do not give a shit about your cover and will destroy things that you wouldn’t think would be destructible in a game.

Just got my first scratch yesterday, and I thought I was being *very* careful. Apparently, I’ve been sliding it in at an angle since I have to reach behind my monitor. It’s 95% invisible with the screen on, but it hasn’t even been *two weeks*.

What a piece a crap system. When you spend 300+ on a new system and you have to figure out ways to get around it’s flawed design. Nintendo hit a new low.

Sledgehammer is usually easier for those “Golfing” ones. They’re nice enough to spawn with a hammer or two in them, but I’ve found you can use any heavy two hand weapon with a similar swing. Boy oh boy am I in love with this game. I beat it this weekend and am seriously in withdrawal. Trying to ease the pain with Zelda but it’s not working. Bokoblins just don’t cut the mustard after fighting a couple of Thunderjaws at once. Or a tag team of corrupted Rockcrushers. Eff those things.

Play the shit out of Horizon until Persona 5 comes out.
