Now I know why I can’t find the Clapback articles I love so much.  This is so late that no one will see this.  Michael, thanks so much for an eye-opening ride that taught me so much.  You are unsurpassed in your skills as a writer (I know: I’m married to a writer.)  Good luck to you.  You are missed.

Thanks Michael for the linguistically beautiful way of responding to the weekly nonsense that fills your in-box!  I enjoy it immensely, and I learn so much.

You bring up some great points. These are the same people who don’t wash their hands before or after peeing. One comment these people use is “My daddy taught me not to pee on my hands.” They never stop to think where their private parts have been, when they were last washed, or when they last joined in a suckfest such

RE: “Be safe”. This has been my expression of love for other human beings when they are about to depart from my house, etc.  I didn’t know this phrase has an even more important place in the lives of so many.  Be safe.

Now you see I learned something.  I don’t use that term, but it’s good to know when it can be offensive.  Thanks!

I’m happy to hear that you were unscathed in this incident!  I wish more cops would stop and think about ... never mind: The kind of cops who murdered George Floyd were only thinking about one thing: Acting out their hate.

I have been following UConn’s women’s basketball team all season, except for last night’s game. I saw the replay and I have to agree: That was a foul. I would hate to win a game that way, but I guess it is what it is.

I grew up poor and white in Oakland. In school, as one of a few white kids, I was rarely harassed, seldom called a racial slur, and assaulted on literally three occasions. But when any of these things occurred, there was always a person (or many more) of color around who stood up for me.

Michael, I live for the Clapback Mailbag! I am seriously learning a lot!

Yep. He would stick out like a sore thumb if it weren’t up his ass.

Me too!

Michael, this was hilarious! Even the outtakes were funny! It sounds like the crew was enjoying it too!

As others have said, I look forward to the Clapback.  To have a video is awesome!

For the record, I like mayonnaise much better than Miracle Whip ...

You’re absolutely right: They should be talking to the police!  Can they not see what ... never mind, they’re cops.

I would LOVE to do that!  Thanks for your kind words!

This is definitely a miscarriage of respect!  BTW, she is one beautiful woman!

Thanks again Michael for an awesome response to another bad email from yet another person of whiteness who is trying to “correct” you (Could I have added another prepositional phrase).
