I find that you’re a typical Sanders critic; cynical and dismissive of anyone who could possibly support him while rejecting the establishment favorites who only seek to bring cosmetic social justice reforms while maintaining the economic power structure that leaves the working class down and out in favor of the rich.

My guy,you dropped him four spots because he couldn’t secure Ayanna Pressley’s endorsement while simultaneously diminishing the endorsements of AOC and Congresswoman Omar, as if they weren’t relevant enough (or Black enough in Omar’s case) to be impactful to Sanders campaign.

Maybe it’s because she’s from the same state as Elizabeth Warren, maybe it’s Maybelline, we don’t know, but a high profile black woman with impeccable progressive credentials taking Sanders’ money and still giving him the heisman says something about where Dems see his chances of winning the nomination.

Hey Hey Hey....It’s Jason Whitlock!

Reading Splinter was my morning coffee, my lunch break, dinner and midnight snack. The progressive left is losing a great voice. Thanks for supporting the working class and labor rights while calling out the establishment Democrats, batshit crazy Republicans and the corporate media with snark, venom and insight.

Reminds me of often used Alice Walker quote:

As tragic and criminal as what happened to Black Wall Street (not to mention other successful Black communities during the early 20th century), the mere existence of a thriving economy created by and for Black people is possible. Imagine if the money we spend as a collective was primarily put into Black-owned

No, you stop. She apologized for it. Just because people like you refuse to accept it doesn’t mean she wasn’t sincere. My point is that while Kanye is still winning with his shoe sales and his Sunday Service cult, Michele hasn’t fully recovered her career. That punk can rock that red hat and still get love? FOH.

I couldn’t help but think about Chrisette Michele when I heard about this. She was pretty much excommunicated from the Black community and was forced to do an apology tour because she sang at Trump’s inauguration. To my knowledge, she didn’t say she voted for him and certainly didn’t pose for a photo-op with him like

For journalists and apparently many commenters on this site, politics is no different than a fantasy sports league, where people select their favorites based on their popularity and how safe and reasonable they appear.

Not to mention the fact undocumented immigrants contribute billions of dollars to our Social Security and Medicare programs without being eligible to claim either of the benefits.

Although I enjoy comic book moves, I definitely understand where Scorsese is coming from.

Yeah, the fake economic populist message he peddled in 2016 might’ve worked for some of the Obama to Trump voters, but any non-Trump cultist knows by now he is the swamp.

I don’t give a fuck how old he is. He’s the candidate closest to my political beliefs. Unless there’s a Freaky Friday scenario between Sanders and Buttigieg, I’m still rocking with the 78-year old.

Say what you will about Kevin Smith, but “OOOH Navy Seals” still makes me laugh when I think about it.

I remain grateful to Earl Ofari Hutchinson who cited a thought piece Coates wrote back in 2012 about Obama’s first term. It was so nuanced and thought-provoking I was upset I hadn’t heard of him before. Since then I’ve looked forward to everything he’s written.

All I need to know about Coons is that he’s a pro-corporate errand boy whose only purpose is to do the bidding of corporations, usually at the expense of the working class.

Seems like Joe Biden is a bad boy hanging with some bad dudes.

Is the bird's name Dave Rubin by chance? I hear his brain is in recovery mode from all the high level ideas he's taking in

These SJW’s are really getting out of hand. I wish these anti-climate change beta cucks would stop forcing their politics down our throats!
