So, let's get this straight:
"As a rational and compassionate adult, Allen should have had the good judgment to walk away from his relationship with Soon-Yi and leave that family intact. Whether the allegations are true or not, his actions are unforgivable. I just find him gross and creepy and weird. Always have, but even more so now." - YES! …

I can't believe I'm agreeing with Lena Dunham, but she's 100% correct. Dylan Farrow was incredibly brave to come out and say what she did. Most victims never speak up, especially when the person who assaulted them is so powerful. It's Roman Polanski all over again.
I understand that Woody Allen is a very big deal in the world of celebrity, but I think it's really time for all other celebrities to mind their own fucking business.
I believe Dylan. I was a victim of my father's for years. My story is so similar to hers—the secret alone time where he spent time abusing me, the constant semi-inappropriate touching in public, and the excuses used to spend "quality" time with me. And the inability for anyone in the legal field to side with me…
I see that I am not alone in thinking that Allen's relationship with Soon-Yi is relevant.
Thank you for pointing out some of the problems with how this is being discussed, and for trying to assert some much-need boundaries on this issue. But I don't see why "Woody Allen's relationship with Soon-Yi Previn" is irrelevant. I'm a social worker and a big part of my job is working with abused children and their…
I disagree; Allen's relationship with Soon-Yi Previn is relevant. It shows he is willing to break a constellation of taboos and is genuinely bewildered that anyone has a problem with it. In other words, he puts his own wants before any norms of behavior and ahead of other people's feelings.
You're like me! Good little employee all week, then parties on the weekend. Since I live about a 2hr commute from my nearest friend, he'll often drive up and my boyfriend, him, and I will get drunk playing mario kart (the only drunk driving that is okay XD). And the either sway our way up to the chipshop or drunkenly…
We have two rescued kitties, siblings, and they are currently 6 month old. The girl is a lithe and spazzy 6 pounds, and all legs. The boy? Looks like a bulldog, and weighs 11 pounds. We are already on food rationing with him, and supplemental feeding for her. I hope your "little" guy slims down, and also maybe learns…

Please take him to the vet. Depending on his age you may need to either limit the amount of food he gets or buy low calorie food. Take him before he gets diabetes and needs daily insulin shots.
My baby is 24 pounds and even though we feed him light food he's maintaining pretty steadily. I also have to clean his butt occasionally (fun times) but for the most part he runs, can jump on counters, and seems pretty happy so I don't worry too much. I try to monitor his eating but we have 2 other cats so it's not so…
I have to disagree! I LOVED Asylum. That season was flat out terrifying and had some of the best character development in the entire series, not to mention a much more satisfying ending than this season's. And I feel like Coven kind of lost the overall vision of the series: I mean, the show's called American Horror Sto…
Agreed. Haunted Mansion at #1, Coven for #2, and Asylum brings up the rear. The Asylum torture porn was never as entertaining as the Coven camp. Haunted Mansion was just so mind-messingly creepy. I watched that season always ready to throw the blanket over my head.
