At a certain point it's just hard to keep knowing about all of this.

Exactly. It makes me not want to trust any men or really anyone at all. I know that's how news works, highlighting all the bad even though it's obviously far outnumbered by good and average and mundane people but it still changes my outlook on society.
I honestly don't think I can keep reading about this, and I stuck through news about stuebenville, maryville, and others. I'm not sure if it's a straw that broke the camel's back scenario or if this is just particularly vile but it really bums out my whole day and outlook on life. I feel like an idiot just burying my…
Is it weird that I always think Cynthia Nixon has braces because for 1 episode of SATC Miranda had braces? But in mind, they're permanently forged in her mouth.
Yeah, I got what the artist was going for but I guess I mostly just thought it was either too short a comic to show enough of an arc of him growing to recognize that the dog/himself can be awesome in spite of the physical flaws or it way overplayed the level of hate (rather than just suspicion /disappointment) for…
Redacted. Replied this to ya twice.

My feelings exactly. If he actually had a missing leg and was given a puppy with a missing leg, I'm thinking he would've found it cool/inspiring from the beginning. They actually do therapy like this by matching disabled dogs with kids that have the same disability.
Am I a soulless freak because I don't find this touching?
I worked at Headfirst too (sorry that this is a late comment but I just found out about all this legal craziness since I don't check Deadspin very often) though not the baseball camp and I completely agree with your assessment. So much focus on petty details. I was wearing a plain blue hoodie one rainy june morning at…
I figured someone had to intervene lest you break the internet with your unending cycle of missed points!
I think NYCyclist was also joking when she replied to you. I think you two are caught in a vicious cycle of pretending to 'miss the point' while actually getting it and then being unsure if the other person actually missed your point.
I think I want to Internet marry you right now. You're saving me the trouble of articulating all these points and probably doing a better job than I would.
I'm on my phone, does anyone have the 'point...you missed it' gif handy?
This. This! THIS!
I will not read that book of hers
I will not read it on the shores
I will not read it in my car
I will not read it in a bar
Nor in a tiny red brick house
Nor in the subway, near a mouse
I will not read it over lunch
It will be bad, I have a hunch
