I live in the US but not a state (should be all the clues ya need!) but I am very unaware of the laws here as far as proceeding. That's a really good idea for the recent ones I didn't delete. Having them on my phone is awful so the quicker I can get a hard copy, the better.

I've actually been thinking about that cause I deleted the initial onslaught that came overnight a few days ago. But apparently iPhones have a way to recover the deleted messages anyway. I have to look into it more before I delete any more but a hard copy is pprobably a good idea.
