First - is this a racist quip regarding Chinese drivers and driving school?

That’s not how contract manufacturing works. The transmission is a Getrag, manufactured in China. They manufacture it at the price point that is set by Getrag, and will cut costs and use lower quality materials as required to meet that predetermined price point. Ford obviously dicked down the price as low as possible…
Would you even be allowed over the Dumbarton on a Class 3 ebike? People drive crazy fast on that bridge so I wouldn’t even think about a Grom on that commute (that’s a long ride). Look into the Honda NC700X - no clutch, so it would be an easier bike to learn on for a new rider. Zero motorcycles are nice as well,…
I loved Zach’s MC Commute series.
I just looked up the seat height on this bike - 30", not nearly as small as I thought it was (I’ve never seen one in person).
You’re looking for a business case to justify a motorcycle?! It’s fun, you spend your hard-earned money on things and activities that you enjoy, that’s what life is about. Do you perform cost/benefit analyses on going to the movies, having sex, cable TV, etc.? You’re acting like Alan Harper, loosen up that sphincter…
Are you a rider? If so you appreciate the intangibles of riding that any decent motorcycle offers which a car simply cannot. Yes, a car will best a bike on service intervals and storage but that’s not the point.
What state are you in? In NY we do an exchange, drop off an empty cylinder and walk over to the cage where full ones are sitting and waiting, and take one home, all wrapped up in a few minutes. I’ve never seen a refill station (not that I’ve looked for them).
The FBI says otherwise:
Their prices are INSANE!
I had a 1990GT, it definitely wasn’t more Buick than sports car and not that slow either, FYI!
This is FortNine from Canada, a great reviewer of bikes and gear.
The pictures in the ad show one of the frunk, along with the stowage compartment behind the seats.
John Wayne is actual nice quite nice and easy IMO. Plus, Enterprise and Hertz at that location had 911s and other interesting rentals from which to choose if you were interested in such.
The backdrop looks like Hawaii to me, and seeing OPs name reinforces that. The pic he shared of the Mustang does indeed look like a former rental so take that into consideration, if that is even an issue for OP.
There are about 8-12 used Tiger XCs on CycleTrader that are under $8K. You’d just need to be willing to do a road trip back if you don’t want to ship it!
FYI, the drill will not accept “regular” drill bits (rounded shaft) that you may already own. They accept 1/4" hex bits so you’ll need to get an adapter or buy a new set of bits just for these tools.

Snozberries all over the screens!
There are a number of unsold/new 2019-20 SV650 models on Cycle Trader starting at $5K
I hate Keurig. The water races through the pods so you wind up with a cup of weak-ass coffee regardless of the coffee blend in the K-Cup.
