Umm... you don’t hate to say it at all. In fact, none of the umpteedozen similar articles written in the wake of a release of a single study of 53 homes with some obvious methodological flaws (including the fact that they hermetically sealed the kitchens in plastic during their tests) hates this at all.

I don’t think it’s really meant to be a preventative measure, but more so to help the victims. As long as drinking and driving are legal (not at the same time), drunk driving will always be a thing.

If we can’t change the habits of the criminals, then we can at least adjust the system so they do more for the victims and survivors. It isn’t perfect, but it is better. Never let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

“Ingested while fucking dragon."

I was just talking to missus and kids about Michael Schumacher, Grant Imahara (Mythbusters), and Colin McRae just a couple days ago.

You have a BMW logo as your avatar. People in glass houses...

From what little I can tell with SWA, they run a very very tight resources ship. It’s like Just in Time Manufacturing on steroids for their entire system from planes, to pilots to flight attendants to gate agents.

As long as they have battery plants Tesla will remain a very valuable company, whether they remain independent or not remains to be seen. We always talk of Tesla like a car company, when in reality, they’re a battery company that also makes things those batteries can be used in. Their cars are okay as best, but their

You forget that the anti-vax population is somewhat of a split between the “government can’t tell me what to do!” crowd and the hippy holistic “I’m not putting something unnatural in my body, my essential oil diffuser will give me all the immunity boost I need!” crowd.

Which decade? There have been a few.

I listen to WCBS way down here at night in Alabama. The signal is weak, but still audible. It comes in stronger near Birmingham.

Terrestrial radio is still the best means we have for getting information out to a lot of people without relying on highly integrated networks. AM in particular is great because the frequencies and modulation allows for very long distance transmission and over the horizon signal propagation. In an emergency, people

Crumple zone?

I’d like to remind everybody that Jalopnik in the not so distant past was on the Transformers as well as the Fast & Furious bandwagons, both of which are garbage.

I wonder if you work at being quite possibly the worst person on here.

It’s an interesting debate in the Rail community on who has better trains. Europe or America.

If you are going to downtown DC, why would you fly into Dulles? Fly to Reagan and you are right there, and in my experience, it is normally cheaper to fly into Reagan. Flying to Reagan from Sarasota tomorrow morning for a work gig, actually.

This comment had more context and info in it than the whole article plus all the comments. Thanks for articulating it so clearly!
