...I was disappointed to see Theresa May, our unelected Prime Minister refuse to condemn this policy...

Canadian airlines are pro-actively helping those affected by this to change flights, destinations, etc, at no extra cost to the passenger. Nicely done

“Feminism is about standing up for those who are marginalized in society,” she said.

I’m a socialist who’s never been opposed to guns. Hunting is the most ethical way to procure meat, and also I don’t like the idea of all the weapons being in the hands of the State (because of a potential situation like the one we’re in).

I briefly perused comments by a well-known conservative author, who said “Liberals are complaining that Trump is doing exactly what he said he’d do. Of course, Liberals expect all politicians to lie, but Trump tells it like it is”... or something like that. I clicked away, retching.

Indeed.

The very nano-second that you see the government support gun restrictions you will know the government is afraid of revolution from the left.

Suddenly all those 2nd amendment nuts are making some good points.

Primeminister May is currently visiting.

If you’re willing to be the back half of a moose, I’ve got a plan...

Harrison Ford, known conservative and LeBeouf associate, made a good portion of his millions from his ability to convincingly punch Nazis. THIS IS A BIPARTISAN ISSUE, PEOPLE.

I have literally decided Trump is a greater threat to America than Osama bin Laden ever was.

If every single Democrat doesn’t vote against DeVos, I will snap. She is a horrible monstrous person.

I can only assume (hope?) they are backing him because they have bigger fish to fry in terms of the cabinet nominees (like they’ve made a deal that they’ll back him if so-and-so doesn’t back someone else?). This still feels like a betrayal, but there are worse cabinet picks, imo.

I also don’t like the narrative that if a woman isn’t smiling all the time, she must be unhappy/bitchy/whatever. Weren’t we just defending Hillary from this nonsense?

I think you maybe missed the point of her op-ed which was, succinctly, that she has chosen to embrace an ignorant, self-obsessed charlatan of a political figure because someone threw an egg at her once.

It seems hypocritical to keep referring to it as an egg and not a chicken.

Is he saying that all this could have been avoided with a participation trophy, a round of applause and a complimentary pussy-grab back in September 2015? Because that’s kinda what I’m hearing.

Agreed, it seems wrong to be so cynical and mistrusting of people who are new to activism. They are in many ways “the middle” that activists spend so much time trying to convince and get involved. Well, they did, now let’s work to make them follow up.

My $0.02, FWIW.
