@Xander: Have you tried the Zindus plugin? [www.zindus.com] I have it currently syncing the contacts between Thunderbird & 5 different Gmail/Apps accounts.

@Seeräuber Jenny: You don't have to fill out the IM service option. The easiest way to set it up is to register with your Google account (and your Google account is an "IM" service... Google Talk. But you don't have to actually use it.)
Here's the link to join my "network" on Aardvark, if anyone wants to let me try answering their questions.
@Seeräuber Jenny: Then it's a good thing that this resource doesn't require IM.
@planetarian: I still say that MS is better than Apple, but other than the 1 machine that I use for Quickbooks (which is one of the few things that doesn't run well on Wine), all my computers are running some variation of Linux (mostly Mint or some other Ubuntu derivative).
Wave was awesome... Except that I ended up being the only one in my circle of "acquaintances" (I tried going beyond just friends to get people trying it) who actually used it fairly often... and being the only person in a wave is boring. If more people would've adopted it, it could have been the future of…
@Jack Alton Kennedy: Does anyone go there anymore?
@Jack It appears you don't go to MySpace much.. your link is to mysapce.com...
@jokermatt999: How long did it take you to create/invent that wikipedia page? ..or did someone else do it?
@EasilyDistracted: Maybe someone else gave my old hotmail address to the spambots, I don't really know. Whatever the case may be, I still find gMail to be far superior. Apparently, so does "The Oatmeal": [theoatmeal.com]
@planetarian: Well, I guess if your live.com address is a designated spam address, that's understandable. I know when I had a spare address through hotmail (although it was a while ago - before I gained enough self-respect to avoid MS products when possible), it was a non-stop spam-collector, even though I never…
...people still use Hotmail?
...Can I Tele-Commute? The drive from SC to LA is a little long to make on a daily/weekly basis...
I do something similar with an old laptop that doesn't hold a charge anymore. It has been set up as a "permanent" addition to my desk and handles all my Skype/IM conversations, TweetDeck, and whatever other nonessential things that would get in the way on my primary machine.
@bayXSonic: I know you can keep multiple apps accounts + 1 gMail account open at the same time... I'm doing that in multiple tabs right now. I just think it would be nice to be able to "associate" all of them into a group and have a dropdown menu (like in the image above) to allow switching between them.. in the…
@Philip Marquis: Unfortunately, it absolutely has to stay as a separate window. It refuses to stay as a separate "profile" otherwise.
@Philip Marquis: Too bad multifox doesn't work in a single window. I use tab groups manager + tree style tabs + tab mix plus to keep all my tabs grouped/sorted/etc.. all in one window. It would be nice if multifox would allow for a separate "group" rather than a whole new window.
@jfellows: Information on how to set it up...?
It would be even better if it included gApps account capability in the switcher.
