There's a no-restart extension called "Browse by name" that does exactly that. Sometimes you'll have to disable & re-enable it after a Firefox update, but it has been working flawlessly for me since shortly after they removed that default behavior.

My wife and I still buy the physical copy of anything we like enough that we know we'll watch it more than 2-3 times; until the large ISPs get a clue and start offering true "high-speed" connections (the technology already exists for ISPs to provide speeds fast enough to download the entire internet in seconds... if

You have obviously never built a "homebrew" media center, or you don't have the expertise to build a "good" one.

...until you accidentally slice through the band and it snaps back to leave a nice on your arm...

First reaction on seeing the headline: "You spelled Deadmau5 wrong."

Agreed. My commenting has already decreased substantially since the layout change and account hacks, but this new comment system (which I just discovered today, due to the decreased presence already mentioned) has made me even less likely to even visit the site. I'll keep reading the RSS, and possibly click through

EDIT: Nevermind.. RSS was different from final article.

Looks like Wunderlist/Wunderkit... I like it!

I think you may have misunderstood me.. I did say "of all types", that includes Windows/Linux/FreeBSD/Vi/Vim/eMacs/Adobe/Chrome/etc.

I don't know about you, but I do most of my computing on the internet, or at least connected to it; in case you hadn't noticed, that "location" contains fanbois of all types that act very similar to the "junior high" denizens you refer to. ...and Apple fanbois tend to be some of the most vocal.

I run Winblows on my desktop (there really needs to be a Linux version of Quickbooks), but my Laptop is running Bridge Linux, so I'd love to see both of them with a desktop client. I'm really looking forward to the Android app as well.

That would explain why I can't create any workspaces... Otherwise, I definitely like the concept. I really need a desktop app for it though (AIR is fine), just like the Wunderlist one.

I loved how Wunderlist had/has the desktop portal/app... I'd really love it if Wunderkit had the same thing. Sometimes it's nice to not have to open the browser.

You have to be careful when using the splitter method; if one or both of the output circuits isn't properly protected, you could end up killing the jack on your device. Headphone/speaker jacks are primarily designed to only support current traveling one direction, if they don't have a diode system to prevent

I haven't had any trouble with it on a touchpad; it just detects scrolling activity, it shouldn't matter where that activity originates. But I use a trackball most of the time, and my laptop is running Linux, so I haven't really had that much opportunity to test it. It's a small file, easy and fast to download,

Nice!!! That looks much better. Does it support annotation though? Most of the time, if I'm taking a screenshot, I need to add text/arrows/boxes/etc to point out something that may not be the most noticeable without the annotation.

The problem with ZT Systems is you can't be sure you're getting what you paid for. I bought a laptop and desktop at the same time about a year and a half ago and the hardware started having issues not long after the 1-year warranty expired. Both machines also came with 32bit Vista Home Basic when I requested (& paid
