I didn't know flowers could smoke pot....

My wife wants one... Guess I'll have to dig through all my old PC parts and see if I have enough boards. ..I probably have enough to make a set (Coffee Table + 2 Side Tables).

I have a catch-all address set up on all of my domains, every site I go to gets [site-domain].[tld]@[my-domain].[tld], and that way I always know where the spam is coming from & can block that specific incoming address.

So when will LH have an article about how to build a directional cell jammer for knocking out the signal of the obnoxious idiots that are determined to share their conversations with everyone else on the train?

I get enough exercise just chasing my cats around the house (and up & down the stairs)... It's fun for them & good for me.

@416Hammy: WalMart. You are thinking about using it on the squirrels and other "pests" that try to steal the food from the birds... right?

Yum! There's no such thing as too much steak.

@Seeräuber Jenny: You get a heart from me as well. I live right next to Hilton Head Island, SC... All four of our seasons are tourist season, and there's a very small distance between them.

@TyphoidKitten: I have the RSS feed set up in Thunderbird.. The articles I'm interested in I open in my browser, the rest I delete. Very easy way to make sure I don't miss anything, while note being (too) overwhelmed with things I'm not interested in.

@rebeldevil: Don't forget the "knocking out the ususpecting burglar" function..

I've been using this trick for a while in Vista... It has saved me a lot of time. I will usually use it when I need to do a bulk rename & don't want the default (1)(2)(3) etc that Windows places.. First, do the bulk rename, then go to the first in the batch & tab through using the arrow keys and backspace/del to

@gurpswu: That would be wonderful. Especially if it could be set to default all new tabs as muted unless you either "whitelist" the domain or unmute the tab after it opens.

@Tsylord: XMarks - No longer just a Firefox extension.

I've been using this since Windows '95, and it constantly amazes me that some people still don't know about it.

@Zundfolge: I totally agree, CS3 (& Quickbooks) is the only reason I keep a spare machine running Windows. All my other machines are running Mint.

When it comes to finding something good to read, I think browsing the "used book sale" at the local library works pretty well for me. At 50¢ per paperback, if I buy a handful of books & only like 2 of them (re-donating the ones I didn't like), my money has been well spent.

@CamJN: I must know what headset that is. I've been looking for a decent stereo bluetooth headset for a while, but they all seem to be way too expensive.

@tuxus: If it was any other ISP, I would agree with you.

@tuxus: It probably helps that my ISP doesn't actually know where I live. I've moved a few times since I established my account with them, taking my cable box with me (all locations were within their monopolistic realm), so as long as I keep paying the (e)bill, my service will continue, and they will keep assuming
