I hope you don't mind me pasting in my response to a similar question:

I've watched the first two videos of her series on video games, and her arguments seem more measured and philosophical than her earlier work, in my opinion, so I won't disagree with anyone who says she's asking for small considerations lately.

I've watched the first two videos of her series on video games, and her arguments seem more measured and philosophical than her earlier work, in my opinion, so I won't disagree with anyone who says she's asking for small considerations lately.

These are the top 3 things she's said I disagree with:

1. It's creepy for

You're, right, I certainly wouldn't deny that the threats are sexually motivated.

She does, and she has those rights, as well she should. I think she argues for more than that, though; I think she argues that art that passes a certain threshold of offensiveness for her shouldn't be made. That's my read of her previous videos, at least, and one I disagree with.

I'm a SWM and an avid gamer. I think Anita often argues for her right to live in a world that no one really deserves to live in (with respect to the kind of art that others create), and I disagree with her opinions about 90% of the time.

That said, this is utterly unconsionable and a horribly damning indcitment of the

Fight for NY is probably on my top five games of all time list. The mechanics are amazing; I'm surprised they didn't get stolen and transplanted into a dozen different narrative atmospheres. Honestly, I wish they had been.

Garth Ennis's Just A Pilgrim, anyone?

(The first one, not the sequel where he tucked his tail between his legs.)

Question: do women ever see their own pee stream? I guess just if they're trying to, right? Weird idea that something I have to look at every day (to make sure I'm aiming right) might pass women by...

Also tell them that the pee stream is actually a DOUBLE HELIX that sometimes forks into two streams that form about a 45 degree angle and that's why sometimes we piss all over the bathroom. But you're right, we should hold ourselves responsible for cleaning it.

The category is "sexualities that have been considered deviant and abominable in history."

Try and remember that "throw them in a volcano" is what a most people were saying about homosexuals a century or two ago.

Honestly, though? GTA is pretty much the one game where this doesn't bother me. If there were some Kingdom Hearts RPG where this was going on, yes, let's get angry. But anyone playing GTA has already signed up for disgusting and reprehensible shit. Isn't this the game where you kill a Steve Jobs clone by having a cell

The first time I played that game as a rental, I got sick to my stomach. The sheer realness of throwing a plastic bag over someone's head and beating them to death was too much for me at the time.

A few years later, I think in the interest of not letting the game "beat me" (and because I usually love hyperviolent

Gawker "troll"-shamers are some of the hardest-working people I've ever seen.

I'd put it this way: if you want to "bang" and the other person wants to "make love," don't do it.

My gut response is to say, "How are you going to get the people in power, the non-feminists (whomever they may be), to give you some of that power they have a tight grip on by not caring about what they think?" Then I think about it, and it occurs to me, I guess, that power can be taken by force, which seems to be the

That is not what I see when I see these kinds of posts.

DING DING DING! I've been trying to think of a way to say that that succinctly. I'm reading this article and all these comments, and I just want to say, "Dude, you want things from these people. You're not going to get what you want by being an asshole, or even by not showing that you care. You can't throw eggs at

I typed "Meeow!" into Google Translate. Translation: "UNCLE!"

So, do you not like being alive? Do you wish you yourself were not a part of this world?
