As someone who doesn’t like her, likes the MCU, and wants the two of them to have nothing to do with each other...

A random Savage Land mutate, IIRC.

That doesn’t make someone not a philanthropist. “You can’t benefit from it” is not a requirement for philanthropy.

Big star for you, both for the reference and for being spot on. Reminds me of that Onion article about “Marilyn Manson reduced to going door-to-door in attempt to shock people”.

So let me get this straight...

Someone told my wife when she was young that backing up your car right after you turn it on (like getting out of a parking space) damages the engine. She will go to almost any length to back into every parking space so she can start her drive going forward. Nothing I say can dissuade her from believing that car

I’m convinced there’s nobody in the world who cares as much about Kristen Stewart being gay as she would like them to. It really comes off as though she wishes it were 1999 and she could be more oppressed and transgressive by being gay than the more-progressive 2024 will allow.

Cancel culture isn’t a thing. Capitalism is a thing.”

I completely agree. The fact that Ellie takes Abby down from the cross, sets her up with a boat, only then decides she wants to kill her, and a few minutes of punching and choking later decides it’s not worth it felt like the writers didn’t know what they wanted until the game was almost out the door. It didn’t feel

Okay, since this is the second time you’ve brought it up, you do realize that saying, “Two lives are more valuable than one” as all the justification you need to “kill” Tuvix basically flings the door open for “We’re going to kill you and harvest your organs so four people can survive,” right?

Just for fun, I decided to see what 1/10th the effort would look like. Here it is:

I bought Dark Souls 1 yeeears ago, tried it, hated it, and left it alone. I came back to it and used a Cheat Engine to give myself perfect stats, and still hated it. Thought the whole concept of a Souls game just wasn’t for me.

I’m so glad there are some people who find what Remedy is selling to be puffed up tripe. The story on AW1 was aggressively meh, the ham-fisted rip-offs of Stephen King and Twilight Zone were more conceited than honoring, and man is the combat dumb. Glad to know I wasn’t wrong to skip AW2 because I don’t think they

I’ll do two:

Is this game good if you thought the first one sucked?

Did you guys really put Hogwarts on this list to offer some more takes on how not-very-good the Game That Shall Not Be Named is? I understand that a ton of people have their identity wrapped up in hating JK and everything she created, up to and including multiple think pieces on how she’s not actually that great a

There! Are! FOUR! Claps!

You must not be reading the current run by Zeb Wells, or the Clone Saga, or the stuff before the Clone Saga where he was treating “the Spider” as a dissociative identity, or...

Man, that one picture of Miles upside-down has him suffering from a huge case of Noassitol.

Was thinking the same thing. The poster and title got me interested, but if this movie actually has a girl trying to keep playing Marco Polo for like two minutes after her boyfriend completely leaves her alone, that’s a level of stupid commitment that breaks my suspension of disbelief even more than “killer pool”.
