Ah... but shaving is not nearly equivalent to stemming a bloody flow between your legs? Wtf? Yes, some things in life are over priced. Women use razors too! I'd still complain about tampon cost over that. I could really stop shaving if I had to, and so could you.

Ohmygosh yes. Trendy tampons, buy a box, give a box!

Condoms I get - people get shy about sex, and buying condoms can feel like yelling "I'M GOING TO HAVE SEX NOW!", which is still generally seen as a private thing. Especially if you're buying condoms with your partner. Buying tampons and pads, though, seems as essential to me as purchasing milk or vitamins, so idk why

Seriously? Everyone?!

Well, you can not be sober and also not be drunk! ... drugs?

Ooh, interesting! I hope so!

I am not, but thanks!

This is so delightful to read!! :)

I would fully like everyone to stop telling anyone that any specific time of life should be the "best days of your life". I heard that about college, not high school, and felt horrible that those years were pretty meh for me. Being 25, living in my own apartment in a new city with my boyfriend and a cat, these are the

Where are you from? I'm Canadian, and I can't wait for the day when those transactions don't actually cost extra money!

It does! BC will never let you go!!

Thanks!! And I'm going to NYC in October, so it's good to know I should have cash on me!

I think disassociation online is actually pretty well documented (can't find links right now though, sorry, on mobile!). Also notice how often people talk about "real life" or the "real world" versus the online world - I think that, plus a touch of sociopathy/psychopathy/antisocial personality disorder makes it pretty

I think the reminder will be more effective once you get your grammar down pat.

And explaining this to her kid, when the time comes. :S

That is such a good idea, I wish I'd figured that one out!

It was worth it!!

I think it's fine as long as you communicate with your friends that you're all tipping! Sometimes if a friend throws $20 on the table and you say "the rest on my card", people forget that the $20 in cash is not including a tip.

To be fair, C.A., the rest of the article isn't framed as American only.

Don't you get a fine for that? With my bank, etransfers cost $4. I like doing the "one friend pays card, other people give them cash" thing though, that's always easy.
