Nintendo didn’t own Rare. I am sure that Stamper brothers sold Rare to Microsoft. Why nintendo didn’t buy Rare? Because Rare was a dead horse by the end of N64 era. Key ppl was leaving the studio and Nintendo knew that the magic was lost

Sega should have done this. M2 who developed Sega 3D classic collection has done such an exccellent job
