I gave up fast food at the beginning of Lent. Not that I think cutting out fried chicken from Popeye's will get me closer to God and spiritual enlightenment, but along with the other changes in my life, I felt as though I was spending way too much money on it recently. 5 weeks in and I still haven't had any fast food,

Isn't that what The People's Couch is all about?

I was thinking how Project Runway really lost out on leaving Bravo. It really compromised all that was good about it on Lifetime. Granted, I only tuned in for one season (the one with Christian Siriano) on Bravo and never watched again. PR for the fashion industry really could have been what Top Chef is for the

So excited about this article. I'll take to take a listen after my workout today. But admittedly, I am an avid listener of classical music and I enjoyed the OST for this film a great deal. I think I've listened to the full soundtrack about 4 times over the past week. So delving into a little bit of Desplat's

The Krendler scene was just stupid looking to me and would have been even more ridiculous if reprised in its form on tv today, especially since this show seems to somewhat pride itself on being the more intelligent, more realistic, more beautiful version of events.

I'm tempted to begin this series. But I love books. Not sure if I want to start there or hit the ground running with the show instead. And then as soon as I get some free time, I scratch getting on board with GoT in any form completely. I don't know why.

I don't think Alana has good chemistry with anyone. She just clashes in general. Actually the only character she plays really well off of is Jack, what with their dueling psyches. I don't know if its the way her character is written, which could make sense in its own right: psychiatrist being placed in a position of

haha! I noticed it too. Now you mention it, I could imagine them breaking into song at that point. It's a Hard Knock Life or something.

Funny you say that. For a moment, I had the Grand Budapest Hotel OST playing over the party prep scene. It worked perfectly.

I didn't see the Hannibal De-Lecter-able Food Thread for this week!

That and the hospital cafe catering has been reduced to mush in just one episode! A week ago, he was served bacon, eggs, AND mush.

Well darn it. Come on, AMC/Netflix!!!!! Pick it up!!!!!

In typical Will fashion, he'll be absent. Unnecessary human interaction and stuff.

The time slot has a lot to do with it, I think. 10/9 pm on a FRIDAY? Unless you're me, someone who isn't always hosting posh dinner parties with bird's claws and prosciutto roses those nights, you gotta be kidding.

I would hope AMC picks it up for an addition to a strong Sunday lineup. But lately, they've been a network that prides itself on its own work.

I can't even….

"a former dancer"

Thats how I watched the first season of Hannibal. All on one Saturday a few weeks ago. Now I understand all the mental itchiness and emotional strife one must go through to wait week after week for an episode.

On a different note, wasn't Jack the absolute worst at being covert in that to-go plate scene? I began to question his FBI training. "Oh no no no, I want specifically THESE finger foods I'm holding right he—- no lemme do it myself standing here with this tiny plate." awk laugh. "OK bye now!!!!!" Runs away! Like that's

For sure! He has definitely manipulated everyone. It'll be interesting to see how people will respond to their being cheated. Particularly Alana, in the sense that she's a psychiatrist herself and couldn't see past her own bias. In this instance, she was his alibi, but she has basically been a tool so far this season.
