drive up prices on goods and increase the cost of living...

After multiple elections I find “electability” a silly metric

Yeah, their use surprised the hell out of me. Should a sequel happen, I hope they turn back up: *SPOILERS*

It would be great to see Robotnik nee Eggman escape from the “Mushroom planet” by meeting up with the Echidnas who have been planet hopping trying to find Sonic. Even better if they were trying to get Sonic in

Uncle Chuck, Sonic’s uncle. (Was also into the Archie Sonic lore.) That would seem more fitting to me, as well, but I think the point they were trying to drive was about how unique Sonic was on his own world and another hedgehog might disrupt that.

I’ve thankfully been able to shed the checklist obsession, at least for Fortnite: I’ll still try to complete as many as possible, but unless there’s an unlock I’d really like I don’t grind for the challenges anymore. It helps that, at this point, there’s no use in earning XP (except to make 8-Ball or whatever the

I think that’s going to be harder next season, I think they overdid it in XP earning. It’s very easy to hit 100 this season; I’m 260ish and haven’t played much in weeks.

See if he had just called the folder “Faxes” no one would have found it.

“What if I reject all possible options and demand something be made from thin air?”

Twitch clarified their position on illegal, fake views

I can foresee a Chromium or FireFox fork that simply forgoes media elements altogether. You get pictures and gifs, but the browser intentionally has no way to show video or play audio at all.

The comments (i.e. Kinja) are the only reason I visit any of these sites. Some of the articles are neat but 98% of the time I’m curious on hot/cold takes or commiseration. I even ease up on uBlock and NoScript in order to do so.

Is this a really recent thing? Did anyone attempt it the first few weeks? We’ve known that you can use it to “tug” players (at least teammates), so I would assume someone would try to use it on items.

I haven’t used Venmo, but at least with PayPal my understanding and (admittedly old) experience is you have to be very specific in settings when you send money, or else PayPal takes a transaction charge (either from that sent or in addition to.)

I almost did this with Xenoblade Chronicles. Sunk 140 hours in, right up to the end and then focusing on side-quests. Played it every day since it launched and I brought it up. Something caused me to stop, though, and I didn’t pick it back up for four years. I had completely forgotten the deeper mechanics but, thanks

Always felt that someone looking to do streaming full-time should make an up-front point of scheduling only four days a week with two one-month breaks over a year. Define a committed maximum, with slightly possibility for more.

American banks are... weird. We just implemented chip-and-pin, except the banks decided pin is too hard so it’s chip-and-sign. Still better than a mag stripe, but not much.

Normally, yes, but the one I use is (perhaps atypically) low, either 3.99 or 4.99%. My other card is at 14%, but I use it very rarely and pay it off completely every month. Conversely, my student loans are 4-7%. I had actually been focusing on paying off the higher-interest student loans this year, leaning on my main

Huuuuuh. My savings is about $3200 right now, so does that mean I should take the extra $700 and put it towards debt?

Between challenges and XP level earning battle stars, I never found it that difficult to complete a Battle Pass (though at the end of the season I might be rushing through stuff a bit; I found it harder to reach specified XP levels.) However, I also like this change: having them separate was annoying and seemed rather

Nope, standard pieces and forms for building a hotel when someone shoots at you. They did change the default keybinds from F1-F4 to ZXCV, though.
