USPS is supposed to act as an independent, self-funded agency to the government (Congressional meddling notwithstanding) so I can understand the need for postage. Off the top of my head, the packages were hand-delivered and he got caught on multiple cameras near the places delivered to around the rough time of delivery.

I expect the terrorist simply oozes Dunning-Kruger. For so many to arrive yesterday/today the packages were likely mailed the same day, which means likely also from the same place. I bet the person thought they were smart and used one of the private shipping outlets to send it, the kind that will usually be in a strip…

I expect all political offices are on high alert right now, so we’ll have lots of places evacuated while a package is checked throughout the rest of the week (at least).
