@elvisml2: If you had bothered to read the article, you likely would have come to a similar conclusion.

@zross312: Yeah, "appeasement" is generally reserved for two-year-olds and Axis powers.

@DfizzleShizzle: No, Viacom pulled Colbert and The Daily Show off hulu. Probably just to be dicks.

I don't understand the point if you're chained to wifi. How many people will have iPhone 4s but not webcams?

So it begins - my 3GS is no longer the awesomest.

@Amethysaurus: Right, just more political posturing. But at least it's given some mouth breathers below another excuse to threaten violence against the government.

I have to switch identities with someone else? Ok, fine...I hear it's a really cool phone.

One of the coolest dives I did was at night in the BVI. While looking around on the bottom, I saw a rock glow with a bunch of little lights when I shined my flashlight at it. As I swam closer, I realized that the lights were coming from tiny little lobster eyes, which are reflective kind of like a cat's in

I remember the last time the subject of gorilla glass and the iphone came up on Giz someone posted this. But then again, I'm seeing plenty of mentions that Apple's not using it. [twitpic.com]

I don't see a problem, as long as the government is willing to oversee safety compliance. Like with off-shore drilling.

So I wasn't actually bitten by a radioactive spider? And I've already stitched the costume...

I'm sticking with my trusty landline and hardware the phone company provided me. Come on, who really needs to walk around with a phone in his pocket all the time? That's just crazy!

@TheSonOfKrypton: Boom! Although you shouldn't get too cocky, SonofKrypton. Aren't you the one who let Zod, et al. out of the Phantom Zone by throwing that bomb into space?

@Anonymoose: Right, I've already got a laptop than can video conference from anywhere there's wifi. The cool thing, one would think, about putting this function on a phone is portability, but they're cutting it off at the knees by disallowing 3G.

@Anonymoose: Yeah, so is that the deal with facetime? Is it new iphone to new iphone only or can other services add it in? Because if you can only call other brand new iphones, I see using it even less that I would otherwise.

Perfect, I was already hoping to pick up a cheap radio controlled car and keyboard on that trip.

Nice job, Kristin. BP's cup runneth over!
