But this film is full of wildly-fictionalized real-life people. It might not have made any difference to you, but the joy of that scene is built around it being Bruce. By your logic, why not swap out Manson for ... some guy?

lmao GMG sites do this constantly. No one on the AV Club actually cares they are platforming fuckwits through this because they operate in peak performative outrage anyway. Kotaku regularly does articles about dipshit streamers and youtubers while making sure to post links to all of their stuff.

On one hand, I actually agree with Tarantino. The criticism felt overblown. Lee’s daughter gets special dispensation to feel protective of her father’s legacy but everyone else probably should just accept that this is a fictionalization and chill.

Honestly why would you even post clips from Joe Rogan’s podcast? The asshole’s part of a pipeline to normalize far right talking points and radicalize them.
