That’s fair if you’re talking about home viewing. But if we’re talking about the in-theater experience, I think it’s totally valid to talk about hegemony. There’s only so many screens, and where I live it was a lot harder to find a showing of Parasite than it was for whatever Marvel movies were out that year.
