Serious question - how are the touch controls? I worry that this would be a huge detractor for those of us who would winter drive this vehicle with gloves on.

Every time that I’ve tried your approach of negotiation in person, in good faith, it’s always turned into a waste of too much of my time and never the right deal. Never again.

You might be surprised how capable a FWD minivan can be. Ours (Kia Sedona) has WS-80 winter tires and it is more stable and grippy than my Golf R. Granted, it can’t drift at will like my Golf, but for regular driving, it’s fantastic.

Yet I still can’t get an allocation, so to me, they haven’t solved the problem.

I’ll happily trade in my 2013 C2S if they release a stripped down NA model that isn’t limited in production like the GT cars.

We don’t like to comment - people just construe us as out of touch with the plebs.

I really like our Kia Sedona. It does more miles than my Golf R and 991 C2S combined.

It defaults me to the AS server every time I play - maybe a bunch of us folks in North America are ruining it for them.

I might replace my daily driver with this thing. My wife has a Kia minivan and it’s been absolutely solid and honestly not that terrible to drive. Given this is more-0r-less the same 3.3 with two turbos strapped on, it should be plenty quick enough.

For the most part, I’ve found driving there to be very good. Generally speaking, 150 - 180 km/h was a good target speed range (I’ve never had a fast rental car, I had a diesel Audi A4 get up to around 210 km/h and that took forever). Yes, there are sections of imposed speed limits and yes there are areas with

I agree and I own a 991.1 911. But, I have two young children and it’s nice to have the rear seat for them.

and “en masse” not in mass.

I’d never buy a new Ferrari because money, but also for this reason. Just so disappointing that very few car companies are making “drivers” cars anymore. I suppose this is why I still love Porsche.

Even that little R emblem was too much for me, it came off my Golf R in the first 3 days, along with those stupid fender badges.

There are dozens of us!

Porsche Cayman was probably the closest before it went turbo 4. Now, there really isn’t anything.

Same. Anywhere between 20-30 minutes each direction. I really enjoy that time to myself.

Depends on the dealer. My local dealer said that while I wouldn’t receive a GT3 right away, they were confident they could provide me with an allocation. This, without having ever purchased a car from them. They did say if I purchased a Cayenne for my wife that they’d certainly move me up the list a bit quicker, but

This! I’m 33 now. I would have purchased this 13 years ago. Now, I have a Golf R that I’m perfectly happy with. And, none of this markup BS. $2k under MSRP and one of the first ones in Canada.

I had a Z4 M Coupe and while it was a good car, it was not a great car. I was happy when the lease was done.
