According to Honda’s website, the generator runs for 3.4 hours at rated load (1.6 kw, or 1600 watts). I extrapolated 2.8 hours at max load, but there’s some fluff gut-numbering going on there rather than actual data. It does have an 8 hour runtime listed, but that’s only at 1/4 load, or 500 watts.

Legitimate transfer payments between two countries (or two anything) aren’t done in the middle of night with pallets of cash on an airplane. They’re done using wire transfers.

Does it matter? We legitimately owed them the money. If all we had to do to secure the release of the hostages was pay our debts, then good on us for paying them.
