Is 2005 when this Fauxbra conversion was done? Because I'm pretty sure the final model year for the Z3 was 2002. 2005 was well into Z4 production.

You don’t understand intellectual property.
buy ‘em while you still can!
Guess that 1947 license to build CJs is gone.. shame, I looked at them for our PD and Beach Patrol. They do amazing in the deep sugar sand we have here
I can't stop wondering what the rear door handle does. Drop the rear tailgate? Open the fuel filler door? Sound a horn that goes "womp womp"?
Yep. If yesteryear’s top-end trim and this year’s midrange trim have similar/the same features, for approximately the same price, then it really comes down to a question of aesthetics or any incentives on either model.
i always give my dad shit because there’s a passing resemblance between the two, down to the accent. We just celebrated my dad’s 70th. Cheers again, Dad!
That’s really all I got from the article, too. My dad is 62 and I figured Clarkson had a good 8-10 years on him.
I don’t agree with Clarkson hating on Greta, but I think his message is valid. Why should we sit around and argue about how we are going to die and when we are going to die, instead of focusing on how to fix these issues?
You should hate yourself . . .
Thank you very much for your reply and professionalism. I appreciate how nicely you handled this.
It used to be that the end of a model run, was a great time to strike a bargain. It still is, but increasingly, it’s not really a bargain when you compare feature to feature with the new model car. The new models incorporate a lot of the previous extra-cost options as standard equipment nowadays.
Australian Supercars runs on a bunch of street circuits and I’ve seen some pretty hard crashes and no problem with the walls. Current Aussie Supercars are only about 150lbs lighter than a NASCAR Cup Car.
If the 2021 car is to be all that it’s hyped to be, these cars will be lighter and better handling. No IndyCar, but they would be much more manageable on a street circuit.
Deleting your comment was not intentional, but you’re correct that I should have noted the edited quote. I’ve added a note to reflect the change.
Lightly-used or even not-well-advertised EVs can be insanely cheap. My dad got an electric Focus with 7k on the odometer for $11,000.
Last I looked at the odometer, it had over 305,000 miles. It’s owned by Paul over at AutoKennel and he does SO MANY road rallies. Check out their IG (@autokennel), so much awesome stuff (they also sell a lot of interesting cars).
Whatever you do, please consider an electric car or a plug in hybrid.
Exactly - I would have gladly paid $1k less for my last few cars to get nav stripped out. It’s a bit redundant, although kinda nice I can search on my Cadillac app for a location and send it to the car from my phone. But then I have to deal with Cue... :(
