I’m actually OK with this. Like Banksy’s self-shredding painting, or Warhol’s tomato soup cans, the function of this sort of art, is to make people think. And in that regard, I will assert that it has performed its function very well.

In watching the video, you can see the gate going down after the car starts onto the bridge. Presumably there was another gate on the near side of the bridge, but outside the field of view of the camera. Perhaps the driver was confused by the second gate, and stopped well short.
Launder money and try to draw in even bigger suckers
Is it bad that I don’t give a shit about NFTs and cryptobros and all this bullshit?
Aaaaaaaaaaand I saved the above gif, since it’s the only part of the dumb video that matters, so idgaf about the full release video. God this is all so dumb
The gate is just out of frame from where that screen shot shows the pedestrian gate.
I see no indicator of a gate in that picture. There is a gate on the pedestrian walk part.
Lower your pitchforks and torches, but I’ll say tinted windows. I don’t mean those ultra-dark windows which seem to use trash bags instead of good films, but medium tinted windows provide much thermal comfort in hot and sunny regions. Plus, some cars look dope with tasteful window tinting.
A screwdriver to remove the dealer license plate frame. (Or hairdryer and adhesive remover for the really evil dealers who put on nameplates).
A good bedliner is so necessary to a pickup truck that they should come standard.
A tire pressure gauge
Good floor mats. WeatherTec are the big ones, but there are other brands. Some car companies are finally offering them as dealer options.
When the current Defender was launched, Land Rover said they wouldn’t make a soft top or a pickup Defender, but then as more and more kept asking, Land Rover said, that if enough people wanted them, they would do it.
Yep, and now it’s fugly
Great choice! I thought the new Continental would be the beginning of a true Revival of the Lincoln Brand but they cared more about some mystic idea of the dealer experience instead of making a car worth finding a Lincoln dealer for.
The ten speed automatic isn’t a good match with the 2.3-liter Ecoboost. It’s actually pretty engaging with the six speed manual even more so with the handling package, although that’s a $2000 upcharge.
First time I sat in the new Continental was at the auto show - Lincoln had the bad luck of being right across from Mercedes Benz. Short of having the V6 and a bit more space, that Continental fell short of a pretty basic E-Class (they started around the same price) just by how cheap a lot of the little touch points…
The Lincoln Continental reboot. They priced it up there where it belonged, giving consumers the ability to option is up to almost $90k. It could have been the rebirth of Lincoln as the top dog in Luxury. It was an opportunity to get Presidents, dictators, movie stars, and Mad Men driving Lincoln again! Instead, it was…
it adds two posts to the site that ads can be shown on. best thing you can do is not click.
I’ve noticed most of the slide shows generated from the QOTD just pick off 10 or 11 of the first 20 or so responses and call it a day.
