I see waaaayy to much plastic everywhere for a 50K wagon and not sure why it needs a look down tow camera when it doesn’t even come with a tow hitch.  For 50K that should already be there.  Not enough car for that price.

This. It’s the automotive version of the smartphone screen that wraps a little bit around the edge of the phone. Ok it looks kinda neat the first time you see it, but WHY? The functional improvement over a simpler, cheaper, more reliable, well established technology is negligible. I can’t WAIT until this trickles down…

I hear that for an extra $2000, they’ll replace the motor with a webbing loop so that you can pop the handle out yourself and save some weight.

Wow, that’s impressive! A plastic GM part that can withstand 4 pounds of weight. Now I’ve seen everything. 

No car should have motorized handles. They are too important and take too much abuse and are in such a dirty and harsh environment that motorizing them is unnecessarily risky. While I’ll likely never buy a 911 because I’m not rich, if this starts trickling down to normal cars I’ll be avoiding those models.

yes of they do...but not that many on their Z4. I am just comparing it with its twin...that is a grand tourer and looks like one....this is just Toyota trying to milk the “Supra” name.

BMW uses plenty of fake vents on their cars. 

Honestly, at this point, i feel i like the new Z4 more...at least its honest about what it is.

This is my biggest design peeve; fake things in general (fasteners, wood, etc...) but the fake grills really grind my gears. The new Civic’s rear fake grills are the worst. It’s lazy design, and I honestly don’t know why it’s not shamed more in the design community. It makes the car look like a kid’s toy.
