Last week; a mile from my house; on the good side of town - lady pulled over by an impersonator. She got away because she was a suspicious; had left the car in drive; was able to accellerate away when he tried to climb through the window with a knife.

I’ve appreciated them for not being a beige CRV - ‘would never personally drive one; but glad they are there for someone with the right personality.

    What’s under the other tarp?

Calculate your cost/mile to own this sometime. Don’t forget to include rent value on the garage.

Doing the same with a GT has a 12% annualized return giving you $500,000 less expenses today.. That’s better than the S&P’ 500's. But, you’re kind of looking backwards in a best-case scenario; knowing which car to purchase. Do the same with the stock market and look at a $140,000 investment in Apple in 2005 and you

$35,000 invested in 2002 in an S&P 500 index fund would be worth more than $91,000 now. So, even if they get their price, there’s a $56,000 loss. Throw in a lowball $1,500 / year storage cost (Building + Taxes +Insurance) and there’s another $22,000.

Thanks for the photo with a 2017. These are really nice; especially on the facelifts.

But see: Canadian Tire Motorsport Park; Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course; Road America; Sonoma Raceway; and Watkins Glen International.

Don’t be a bore – “I forgot “xxx” was still a thing.” is nowhere near as creative and insightful as you think.

If someone slashed it, they may have saved a life. Those tires aren’t safe/legal anywhere. The police must have been being nice not to ticket her.

Hate to be that guy; but doesn’t this look staged or intentional? The way the camera follows the cars? Zooms in on the Civic? Or, are there ways to crop / edit security videos to achieve this?

May be jurisdiction specific? In my state they claim they don’t have jurisdiction to write an accident report. ... Though in typing this, I just remembered getting a lecture and “let go” for driving too fast in one c. 1991.

‘don’t disagree, but this works out well if Fox keeps Jeff Gordon.

Silly is when you tack non-functioning poser design element on a car like a hood scoop or vents. Those skinny tires are on there for a good reason; therefore, not silly.

    You’re mocking Indianapolis Motor Speedway?

You’ve no idea how badly your comment reflects on you.

Being in the top 5% of US earners only gets you to $250k/year. This only gets you a Corvette. The top 1% only gets you to $350/year; so maybe an S-Class?*

This weekend: Old Lady at Church just showed up in a new crossover; couldn’t get out of her Accord.

    Saw one yesterday

I’d never buy one, but they look about right for the old ladies I’ve mostly seen driving them. Wonder what the average age/gender is?
