Corvair almost achieved this. (If we are talking about model line up sharing the same name and not a single model.)

The photos you’re referring to were actually from an Penthouse article. The official Toyota brochure was SFW.

Yes, it was designed by Holden. Daewoo has been owned by GM since the early 2000’s so doesn’t that make the new Spark a GM design too?

This generation Ignis was sold as Suzuki only in Europe. It was modified version of the Cruze which was sold as Holden in Australia and Chevrolet in Japan.

Yeah I should’ve added that beginners and some amateurs use used tires to make sliding easier with low power. The negative camber rear suspension setup makes the car herder to handle though.

Drift cars never try to have less grip than what the cars have in their stock form. Less grip would just make the cars harder to control.

It’s actually functional modification for drifting. It’s also as far as I know where the whole negative camber trend started. It increases frontal grip during drift.

I’m sure we would appreciate it over at Oppositelock. It might even end up on Jalopnik if you post it on weekend.

Definitely :). It was so Celica that it was too Celica for the rest of the world to handle.

Edit: Nevermind

Have you seen this one?

Cool to know there are more jalops here then.

I'm curious, do you still live in Helsinki?

And in Finnish it's a slang word for cannabis. Also something I imagine Rinspeed doesn't want to be associated with.

JDM Chevrolet Cruze.

Perhaps not the greatest of all but interesting nonetheless. Mini Wildgoose camper.
