and Scarlett Johansson’s stunt double
Wow, looks really cool. I’m super interested in this.
And it took forever to log in to AOL via dial up. Not enough time between Seinfeld and ER.
My favorite of these stories is Jack Whitehall’s performance in Frozen being turned into a non-speaking role. Poor guy did a press junket and everything and they never told him that his part in an animated movie had become non-speaking.
“The absence of a rebuttal must on its own prove that I’m right!”
I dont like Whedon and theres probably truth to the rumor he was a huge asshole on set, but this grasping at straws. I feel it actually hurts any previous allegations Fisher has made, even if they were vague and finger pointy.
Good analysis. And let’s be honest, everything I’ve heard from this whole sordid affair makes it seem very likely that Fisher would hear something out of context and completely blow it up. Especially if doing so helped make heat for the Snyder Cut.
You seem on edge, necg“Ray”. Investigation not going how you wanted?
So Fisher repeated his version of what someone told him that Whedon said.
Well, Whedon was always a terrible choice to come in and finish a Snyder movie. I’m sure it sounded great to some executive, “hey, get the guy who made the WILDLY successful superhero team-up movie to come in and finish OUR superhero team-up movie”, but their sensibilities and style are polar opposites. Snyder’s…
Nothing ‘definitely racist’ about any of it. Scenes and characters get edited out of movies all the time for a variety of issues like pacing or just to make the movie fit a specific runtime. With a movie as overstuffed as Snyder’s JL, there’s going to be a lot left on the cutting room floor. When you have to make a…
“They film dozens of scenes, spend millions of dollars, fly people out, and then some bros decide they can just leave them on the cutting room floor? That’s suspicious, almost definitely-racist, and needs to be investigated.”
“specific”
Don't bother reading comments on it then? You seem upset.
Ther does seem to be an inordinate amount of “Someone told me...” and “I know someone who heard...” in his stunning expose.
This part is silly. “Whedon had had an actor’s skin color digitally altered in post-production because “he didn’t like their skin tone” It’s literally impossible to release a movie without altering an actors skintone.
That screenname isn’t fooling anyone, Mr. Scorcese.
Are these details? The statement still has no specifics despite what the article title says. Really its a variation of what he has said before. If anything it reads as if it was filtered through a PR person who wrote a better copy of Fisher’s previous statements on this.
“and how her working-class background makes her a better politician than her millionaire colleagues on the Hill (“I’ve actually worked for a living”)”
I cannot emphasize enough that Parker and Stone, who endorsed George W Bush and who were unironic cheerleaders for the “war on terror” can, should and indeed must go fuck themselves.
