|even if he didn’t he’d still have the same issue

Is that not because it’s been parodied so much. Had the same effect on me as well.

No Polanski or Cronenberg? Some horror for me is “American History X” Curb scene. “Green Room” box cutter. “Shinning” base ball bat. “Frankenstein” girl at pond. “Wickerman” burnt alive. “Devil rides out” seeing old goat head. “Nosferatu” remake seeing the mummified skulls at the start. “Doctor Who The arc in space”

Really it doesn’t. We can’t simulate turning amino acids into life. We don’t know the frequency/probability of this event happening. So it could be 1 in a billion year chance of life. Therefore if conditions are right life is popping up all over the universe. However it could be 1 pow 1000000000, so life is very very

Except there’s a huge difference between amino acids and life. If there isn’t how come people in labs are making new life every week?

Again this seems logical . But a counter argument would be evolution thrives with competition, perhaps with no moon and unstable seasons, life would be 300 million years more advanced by this point.

Not arguing but every point you raise seems earth-centric. We are here so it seems life must arise in conditions that we perceive as perfect.

Exactly, you have a million sized die, you roll 1 million. Look it’s easy to get a critical hit!

one example isn’t large enough a sample to base a claim on

So you go to play roulette, but rather than normal roulette you don’t know the size of the wheel. “Place your bets...”

As someone whose a micro electronics engineer and game player, who works in low level game code I can safely say they’re not. Well no more than any aspect of the physical world can be viewed this way. All algorithms do is try to model some aspect some model of reality.

Sorry, pretentious, slow, awful music, graphics that look like no one turned the shaders on. Ship passes through a jump gate. Entropy’s a great word, scifi exploring the heat death of the universe, the end of time, I absolutely love. But this could be anything.

Except it’s not on the BBC

Loved it. But I have real issues with Ironman ( played brilliantly ), he’s actually hiring child soldiers. Yes Parker is a superhero, but TS goes out of his way to get him to fight. It’s really sinister.

Tiffin please. Yes I look back on the days of Carry on Khyber. Mind my family was picking mouldy potatoes in Ireland... So maybe not.

Wasn’t America at the same time? Or doesn’t the drive West, or Texas, or Califonia, or the treatment of native people count as imperialism?

I’m extremely left wing, and agree with every word you’ve said. I’ll even give you a star. That odd thing when people become so liberal they somehow tip over and become authoritarian. They’er running round a ball they think they are running away from the authoritarian but they are just running round and up it’s arse.

This is something that is beginning to worry me, the judging of art by the artist, what jimmy page had sex with a minor, Mozart was an arsehole. I hate them now...

What is happening to the quality of articles on this site? maybe it’s time to fine somewhere else to read :(

Yes! There has been a distinct drop in intellectual argument. But this piece has gone beyond. Please stop it.
