There are many ridiculous trump moments like these that just make you stop whatever you are doing and think “yeah, that’s our president now.” I have to wonder how trump supporters reconcile with these…

Not good. In this Trump/Putin administration, they would really use that moment to speed up the rate of police militarization, increase mass surveillance on the population (most likely focused on non-republicans) and who knows what else... maybe media censorship with journalists “disappearing.”

Fox News is becoming more and more like the National Enquirer or whatever those magazines are called with Yeti and the Lochness monster on the cover. And I’m pretty sure trump is friendly with the National Enquirer.

I can’t get enough 1984 references. I remember a time when Russia was looked upon with suspicion, now it’s suddenly okay to be in bed with them.

Another thing that’s been on my mind for a while: Has Trump ever once criticized Putin? I just find it extremely odd that everyone in trumpland is so buddy-buddy with Russia.

Shouldn’t we be more concerned about having a manchurian candidate in the White House than whatever nonsense this parody of a news show conjures up?

I’m currently going through my backlog of games and now I just added Nier: Automata, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and Persona 5. And I hear The Evil Within 2, Battlefield 1, and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus calling my name. Too many good games to be had for cheap!

I have the exact same problem with that particular anime. I still love it and would recommend it, but I would always think back on those particular moments when recommending it.

It is kind of a problem and does pop up on some of my favorite anime.
