The introductions at the end of TLJ really pulled me out of the movie. As audience members, we had already been introduced to all of the characters in a different movie so we would just assume all of the characters working together had met by the next movie.

Or wait in line....

Random Tuesday is my favorite holiday.

i was one of those people who liked the Snyder tone/color palette, just because they were inside his own films. Even looked/felt right within Patty Jenkins WW (Zach is an exec producer for it), but it played well with her entire vision for the film. It was a good idea to move on from the Snyder tones, but gawwwd...not

Thinks back to the glory days of the PC expansion packs.

Definitely not being sarcastic. I think expansion packs are the way to go with DLC.

Yes! Kill all microtransactions! Bring back expansion packs!

Reshoots are a normal part of any film.

So a Pirate King came to be by driving loyalty from other pirates, and taxing their profits? Isn’t.....isn’t that...the literal expectation and definition of a Pirate King?

Or just that it was a bad movie.

Lucas’s original plan (IIRC) was that Vader and Han would die in VI, but the Emperor and some version of the Empire would still be around. The final trilogy would be about Luke rebuilding the Jedi while Leia turned the Alliance into a new version of the Republic. The final confrontation wouldn’t occur until Ep. IX.

I’m still hoping for Hayden Christiansen to show up as Ghost Anakin to have a talk with Ben Solo.

Tbh, the trailer looks the part; my hope is simply that they can get the tone down. Hopefully in a post Dredd/Fury Road landscape, they’ll pull it off.

An errant employee accidentally sold the glowing vat of life restoring liquid hidden beneath a Toys r Us during a liquidation sale. Talia is going to be pissed.

Uh, Killmonger wanted to colonize the planet and BECOME the government. Cap wanted to avoid becoming the tool of politicians. Those are opposite motivations.

but just remember that kinda Killmonger’s plan too (though to the point it made him eeeeeeevil).

Think Soul Calibur, but Star Wars.

No, because I want Star Calibur.

Does Disney really believe that Steven Spielberg would somehow defame their property? Who do they think he is, Michael Bay? What idiots. The only way to look bad here was to do what they’ve done.

I get the feeling I’ll enjoy it as well, despite all the complaints. I thought Kingsglaive was quite enjoyable, and it helped immerse me in the world, and make me care more for the characters’ motivation and journey. I really can’t see myself being disappointed in the game from what I’ve seen so far.
