We can agree to disagree on that. I feel like the Hobbit Trilogy is a better lead in to the LOTR trilogy because of the changes. Things like where Saruman stands, Gandalf’s interest in the Lonely Mountain, and Martin Freeman’s Bilbo let me adore those films. 

Yes they are. Yet my family and I still watch them every year for my dad’s birthday with eagerness and excitement.

See, I adore all of those scenes that you just mentioned, but that’s because I fell in love with Peter Jackson’s Middle-Earth, not Tolkien’s.

A good sequel, then, may be to do a new Finite Narrative with Infinite Possibilites. New world, new characters, same gameplay, same style super branching storylines.

There is a lot room for debate (As their should be!) but the one thing I am going for is the Hitchhiker’s Guide. I think high schoolers should read both versions, or for that matter, two versions of any story.

A way they can do this is if while Obi-Wan is watching over Luke, he is also coming to terms with his guilt and PTSD over the Clone Wars and Anakin’s fall. The Tatooine plot, with Obi-Wan watching over Luke, is just the backdrop to Obi-Wan trying to find peace.

I’ve gotten a head start on this, and I also keep track of how much they are worth vs. how much I’ve paid for them. That ratio is gorgeous!

Not really. It really is perfect for what he is planning to do. You create a character, and go chop up monsters. The movie will merely be Milla’s OC doing exactly that.

Terminator Salvation was headed that way, but it didn’t do so well in the box office. Which is a shame... I liked that movie.

While Age of Extinction wasn’t the best, I actually feel like that The Last Knight tried to do cool and neat things, but because Michael Bay was trying to do it, it did not come across as well.

I actually had an idea of modding the first Witcher into a version of the story with a young Geralt. I got the idea from Nier, which had Father Nier and Brother Nier in the two different versions. I never took up the task, because I’m lazy and I’d rather play games than mod them.

Having never played the games (so my opinion might not count), I have always heard that the stupidest/insane stuff happens in the game. Like, wacky hi-jinks. Maybe that’s what they’ll do?

Agreed. Which is why I’m excited for the next few movies, as wacked as they sound. Exploring more of Pandora is something that has needed to happen for quite sometime.
