As to the update from Ubi - insensitive content? In a game where you brutally hack each other’s limbs off, blood gushes everywhere, and the main appeal of the game is the never ending total war and conflict brewing in their world? In...sensitive content?

I laughed at the Switch and awaited its failure, going so far as to call it Nintendo’s nail in the coffin. I was sure we’d see a PS4 of Xbox Zelda within a few years as Nintendo left the hardware business to focus on developing.

See the problem is entitlement. Look at most of the posts “I’ll just buy it secondhand to screw EA! or If I could Pirate it and play it online I would! Fuck EA!” Rather than either buy it and just don’t buy the loot boxes, or simply ignoring the game altogether (which would be much more damaging to EA in the end)…

I agree with you 100%. Which is why despite my eternal love for pandemics battlefront games I won’t be ruining their memory by purchasing this nonsense. I think “ultimate success” IS happiness and self-contentment though, is it not? It’s not just any other kind of success. The end goal of money and power is the belief it’ll make you happier and more self-content, no?

I’d like to give a special shout-out to Lego Lord of the Rings on PS3. It had an open-world Middle-Earth that allowed you to recreate the journey of the Fellowship on foot if you wanted to. Also has the best Trophy of all time:

I think he’s just suggesting waiting to see how the release pans out before making a final judgement. If it’s handled well, there’s no reason not to support it.
