Given the time and location? mmm... no I think it more or less tracks.

I’m one of the people taking part in the Moderna vaccine trial. There’s a 50% chance I got the saline placebo, but my arm hurt like a bitch for 3 days after the shot, (like a tetanus vaccination on steroids), so I’m hopeful I got the actual vaccine. Obviously I’m not “anti-vax” but I understand there are risks involved…
I’m sure Aunty Entity didn’t start out as the ruthless leader we see in Beyond Thunderdome.
The pedantic part of me is like: “There’s waaay too many stars in the background of that dwarf.”
So if something is on “HBO Max” does that mean “HBO” or does it mean “HBO as long as you don’t have a Roku or Amazon”?
I guarantee you there will be people disappointed by this show because there are no actual wolves in it.
From what little I’ve heard of the bureaucracy surrounding film credits specifically, the unions are super anal about exactly/precisely how everyone is credited. And for the most part it makes a lot of sense and does a lot to help the people with less power. Like one example is if a writer drafts a script but the…
I wouldn’t say that the Matrix itself is the liberator, no. The reason is because the Matrix would never let Switch change over to the identity which she felt most comfortable with when she was having to abide by it’s rules. Thus once she has broken free and learned how to manipulate the Matrix with the residual…
...which would kinda turn the Matrix into a sorta liberator, right?
It will never be not funny that one of the foundational tracts of redpillers is basically a work by 2 transwomen who were at least in part narrating their experience and journey.
Honestly Switch for me at the time would have been awesome just on the scifi level. It would of really opened it up.
Neo: “What about Switch? I thought it’s a projection of who we are”
Morph: “Yes. But I said it was residual Self-image. That’s how Switch sees herself”
Neo: [Looks at Switch. Cocks head questioning]
Switch:…
Please look under your seats for plastic covering that will protect you from the spillage of massive "redpills" heads exploding
I was discussing with my wife the other day how I felt that a common undertone of all the Wachowskis’ movies is that of transformation. Cloud Atlas, certainly, but it’s nice getting some conformation from the mothership on my suspicions.
This is why I love Big Finish. They did a short run of series where Paul McGann’s Doctor leaves his companion in a bad place, in an emergency, where he was convinced he was about to die (spoiler: nah) and she’s screaming for him to come back.
Well they did do an audio reunion of all the Doctors (including the War Doctor) thanks to some pretty good impressionists, at least.
Holy crap. “The Thirteen Doctors” would be an event of immense proportions. What a brilliant idea.
Fans love crossover Doctor stories, so I’m surprised they haven’t had more of them on the show especially with pre-NuWho Doctors. Imagine some with McGann, possibly a show...
‘but needs more Brian Blessed.’
I’m okay with this... but needs more Brian Blessed.
Bring them back to the main show. Let’s have a 13 Doctors episode. Get Troughton and Pertwee’s sons to play the Doctor (they look similar enough).
