Her own family even came out and said why did it take a white woman being killed for people to be so outraged.

I mean, we’re seeing that with Heather Heyer’s death. So many White people *now *seem to understand what the hell Black people been ringing the alarm about for yearrrrssss (decadesssss) CENTURIES in the wake of her murder.

Racism is not a black problem, it is a white problem that only they can eliminate. It’s unfortunate that a white man kneeling may be the only reason other white people begin to pay attention to the issues but that’s the world we live in.

Bye, Cog!

This is everything! Thank you for taking the time to write this and offer a window into your personal space. Sadly, though WE didn’t need a White man to validate this movement, White allies have been (and continue to be) detrimental to our movements.

WOW!! Thanks so much for taking the time to share this. I think it is great that your husband is an ally but the other players are the true “story”. Great article!!

I think they’re trying to have it both ways - showing a small token of support, but not going “all-in” in order to protect their asses.

We should not see Seth’s participation as legitimizing this movement. Rather, he chose to be an ally of his black teammates. To center the focus of Monday’s demonstration solely on Seth is to distract from what our real focus should be: listening to the experiences and the voices of the black people who are using

Whoa. Nice damn article. Glad I got the opportunity to read it.

I feel like the same people who don’t rinse their dishes first are the same people who season their chicken in the sink. Y’all can’t be trusted.

yep

That is one hell of a watch, and I see you’ve got a Ninja blender single-serving thingie. Excellent choices.

Is that suitcase on your wrist heavy?

Also, #teamrinse

The problem is that pre-rinsing dishes is inefficient, redundant, and ******* stupid. The only notable different between pre-rinsing a dish and just washing it is that with the pre-rinse no soap is used. Every other action is the same. It takes just as long, your hands and shirt get as wet, and you’re just as likely

But I’m pre-rinsing to avoid actually doing the dishes for 10 more seconds... or days. I’m a spinster. Can I have that? Also, what about dishwashers? You have to pre-rinse for that!

The problem is that pre-rinsing dishes is inefficient, redundant, and fucking stupid. The only notable different between pre-rinsing a dish and just washing it is that with the pre-rinse no soap is used.

You trolling us. This was all just an excuse to show off that watch (which is absolute fire btw).

As long as it’s not sugar.

I just wanna know what you put on your grits? Please don’t say sugar.
