And somewhere, this doofus stares at a monitor and is really happy.

We should have been where we are now more than a season ago, but fuck it. Let’s just walk everywhere and show you people dicking around for 10+ episodes.

Ha, fair enough. But you know what I mean, I think - Thor as a Marvel superhero wasn’t well known, but yes, Thor the god was out there.

Lol. Nice try, Zack.

Look, I love plenty of movies that do not have great reputations, but I think that it’s important to recognize when you’re out of step with the majority in these sorts of things. MoS and BvS weren’t just criticized by literal critics. Though some people like them quite a bit, most people do not think of them as great

Shit, I remember when Thor 1 was coming out, and people were actively mocking their set pictures and costume design as silly, and predicting a major flop for Marvel.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 only made 10 million less dollars than Batman v Superman (862.9M vs 862.7M) and GotG were basically C-list characters before this. Wonder Woman made 812M. In character recognition alone, they should have killed.

BvS were great films despite the critical reception and brought in tons of money.

Because The Rock is a huge movie star and they wanted to make sure people knew he was attached to them to build credibility.

“It look dumb”

I’m a lawyer in New York City. I had an academic client come in who wrote a paper about a subject they had first hand knowledge of. As part of his paper he quoted an autobiography, and attributed his quote to the individual’s autobiography. That individual then sued my client for defamation (citing their own quote

He’s not planning to really sue. He get’s his followers worked up over bull shit “fake news”, disavows his first post of the actual picture, and when he doesn’t sue blames it on the deep state not allowing him to bring charges.

Steve Mnuchin?

For a second there I thought you meant the literal head of Warner Bros.’ accounting department. “This movie is gonna be our biggest success ever!”

You do realize that Disney puts out a metric f—kton of stuff that isn’t Star Wars or Marvel, right? They have a pretty vast, robust catalog. Not to mention their “vault” that when this is up and running could be the only place to watch vaulted content they’d likely never release on hard media anymore.

For whatever reason, ABC/Disney isn’t putting major money into its TV shows.

Now playing

Mothership? These mofos need to get the funk out.

The actor hasn’t done anything since 2002 according to IMDB, so they could probably recast him with...say...Chris Pine.

They already had a good successor, having Short Round evolve to take Indy’s position would have been nice development that would made him more thean a rather unfortunate Asian comedic sidekick.
