It wasnt just that it was a flop, though, production on this was a nightmare.

It went massively over budget, largely due to the gigantic water tank they made for its filming iirc, and did poorly at the box office. Additionally, it is NOT a good movie, though it’s sins are that it is more bland than anything else.

Epiphinal sounds like it should be a new drug for some kind of Boomer condition though.

I dont think she intended to blast him, though.  She did what was natural to her, but it wasnt on purpose.  She was “Too Emotional” and lost control.

I dunno . . . Wright has become a Director of largely diminishing returns. It’s not a good sign when the best thing youve done this decade is a spotty Scott Pilgrim adaptation.

I almost wonder if he is not going to go for some sort of Holy Roman Empire type situation with Vassal Kings each in charge of their own kingdom, but under Dany as Empress. That way the north could still have John as King in the North, and the South could still have a Baratheon on the throne via Gendry or his kid, and…

Narratively it works REALLY well, especially if Robert Baratheon’s son just knocked up Ned Stark’s daughter . . .
