it was definitely a weak June. There were good movies, but mostly things of a more serious/adult nature (Apollo 13, which came out the week after Batman, is closest. The other major release was Bridges of Madison County).

They ARE asshats, but they are asshats that have the concept of a greater good, which the shows Rick would destroy simply because he could.

And remember: The Rick the show follows is even hated by Himself. The other Ricks don’t find him cool at all. He is almost literally the worst self he could be!

I think you are filling in what you know from the movie you clearly love. It very much looks like a trailer for an action movie, and not the philosophical masterpiece you make it out to be. And much of it is completely incomprehensible without being already familiar with the world and being able to stitch the 3-5…

Then why are you bitching about it not laying out the philosophy?

Agreed, but the question is whether he is less terrible than the DC’s for those teams with truly wretched records. Coming from a team that could easily be 8-8 next weekend, he is going to look tempting to some of them.

Because there are teams like the Browns (1-14), the 49ers (2-13), the Rams (4-11) and the Jaguars (3-12) who would LOVE to have a chance at finishing 8-8, but dont actually want to pay top dollar to do it?
