Not cool. Funny, but still not cool.

I think that it's pretty brilliant for a F2P system, though it comes with all the usual issue of not respecting the player's time. The $5 I put in, along with the PS+ free pack have gotten me pretty far.

I've finally reached floor 35 in Let it Die, but I doubt I'll be able to beat the game for a while yet. I now have access to the highest tier of fighters, but am reluctant to pull the trigger on buying one, since that will mean that I'll start running into five-star Haters and Hunters while climbing the tower.

The demo was super fun, but it felt like a PS4 Pro is practically mandatory. I'm not usually a big framerate pedant, and the game looks amazing when you're just standing around, but the intricate scenery and fast movement really begs for 60fps.

Don't let the name fool you, Daniel Clamp is clearly a Ted Turner parody disguised as a Trump parody.

I think their popularity is a combination of the mechanic's undeniable lizard-brain/gambling addict appeal and the fact that it means that developers get more direct control over player progression via RNG and numbers going up. I'm no expert, but it seems like that has to be easier than trying to control the pacing of

Getting old bites. Two of my all time favorite franchises (Doom & Dark Souls) saw highly regarded entries this year, yet the only game I played that I can unequivocally gush over is Inside. I don't even have any real complaints with DOOM or DS3, they just left me with an empty 'meh' feeling.

Only the premium stickers you get from mushroom stew are permanent AFAIK. They have a distinctive hologram sheen. Normal ones are lost when you peel them off or lose your gear to death.

I'll be grinding up the Tower of Barbs in Let it Die… at least as much as having a family allows.

Not intrusive at all for the entire early game. You don't feel the pinch until you unlock the second tier of fighters and suddenly have to face way tougher multiplayer enemies while grinding up your new fighters.

Breathless groupthink giveth and breathless groupthink taketh away. I still like the game and still play it occasionally, AMA.

It's a really hard game to play these days due to being a third person shooter created shortly before Resident Evil 4 and Gears of War standardized the control scheme.

I seem to recall getting Cutco confused with a MLM scheme and brutally making fun of my buddy trying to sell knives.

I never got the "is this real?" experience because I had read about the movie's production in Fangoria beforehand. (It did get me super hyped, though. My dad had to drive us to a bigger city so I could see it during the limited release.)

I wasn't super disappointed, but it definitely was a mistake to stick so closely to the book's structure.

Uh-oh. You spelled "couragous" wrong.

Yeah, it's an experience much closer to a "Walking Simulator" than it is to Skyrim or the other space sims that it often got compared to before release.

I spent an embarrassingly long time trying to think of which movies might have had pink or purple tapes.

I wish I could show you the majestic wall of obsolete black plastic and hot glue I have mounted behind my computer.

My buddy and I were discussing this the other day when I was over at his place. He's been totally cool with buying and renting digitally for a while, but I've only rented a few scattered things that I would have gone to see at an art house before having kids. It feels like such an imposition for your host to spend
