The 5-10 minutes before and 15 minutes after Conan’s guest interviews on the podcast are legit gold. Conan’s rapport with Sona and Matt Gourley is just delightful and I look forward to it just as much as the actual famous person’s appearance.

I don’t think anyone is going to read it that way. There’s literally no reason McHale would give a quote about that, speaking for someone else mentioned in the same sentence, and that’s a common way to lead into a quote anyway.

This was honestly probably the best episode of the season. The ramshackle, DIY energy was endearing, and forced them to be more creative and economical (the shortened sketches really worked - they were punchy and never overstayed their welcome). Aidy Bryant was especially on her game. I loved how the “Visualizations”…
